As a long-term care provider, we operate as a unique model of skilled nursing and medical care that includes our in-house licensed Medical Director five days a week who provides oversight for clinical quality and medical policies/practices.
Tara Winthrop Private Clinic provides a unique staff to patient ratio of skilled professionals who facilitate the management of complex care needs. This allows the delivery of medical procedures and therapies on site that would not be possible in other settings.
The Medical Director liaises closely with our Multi-Disciplinary Team to include local GPs and hospital Consultants. Central to the team is our Director of Nursing and her team of Assistant Directors, Clinical Nurse Managers, Staff Nurses and Senior Physiotherapists. The team is supported by Healthcare Assistants, Health and Social Care Assistants, Catering, Housekeeping and ancillary staff.
Tara Winthrop Private Clinic is also an accredited site by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for the placement of B.Sc Nursing degree students and also M.Sc level placements.
