Our Medical doctor liaises closely with local G.P.’s and Hospital Consultants. Residents are free to choose their own General Practitioner. Two full time Physiotherapists work with Residents who have been prescribed physiotherapy. Occupational Therapy, Dietician, Speech & Language, Chiropody services can be accessed as required. There is a visiting Optician service and also assistance with dental appointments.
The Health and Social Care team assist with organising activities for our Residents who wish to participate in them. We also have a Guardian ad Litum service for Residents should they need assistance or advocacy for private matters. Every aspect of care is planned on an individual basis and co-ordinated by our multidisciplinary team, together with residents and their families.
Staff are carefully selected with a view to providing an eclectic mix of skills and talents which enhance daily life for our residents. Training and development of staff is ongoing and regularly reviewed. The Care Team endeavour at all times to ensure that residents' needs are met and that all concerns are addressed.
Tara Winthrop Private Clinic employs a team of chefs to cater for the special dietary needs of our Residents. Appetising and nutritious meals are prepared fresh every day from local suppliers who are quality assured.
