Dr. Tomasz Tomasiuk, Catherine Dunleavy, Director of Nursing and Deborrah Brennan, Assistant Director of Nursing collaborated on a study which looked at the gut bacteria of residents in a long term care facility and compared the results to other similar studies in nursing homes across Europe. The following linked poster was accepted at this year’s Irish Gerontological Society’s Scientific and Annual General Meeting in Wexford 29-30th of September, 2017 as a result of this research.
