The 62nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Irish Gerontological Society met on the 6th -11th of October 2014. Titled "Science for Healthy Living and Active Ageing", Tara Winthrop Private Clinic's Director of Nursing, Catherine Dunleavy was asked to present a Case Study: Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Approach in Healing a Grade Four Pressure Ulcer in an Octogenarian Patient with End Stage Dementia.
Our Medical Doctor Tomasz Tomasiuk also presented a poster entitled "A High Uptake of the Influenza Vaccine by Staff has a Positive Outcome for Residents in Long Term Care Facilities: An Observational Audit".
